City of Detroit Lakes Public Works - Excavations
Public Works DepartmentThe City of Detroit Lakes has an excavation ordinance #302 which requires to be licensed and obtain a permit before excavating in a City right-of-way. If you need to excavate in a City right-of-way, you must have a licensed contractor to perform the work. A list of licensed contractors is available at the City Public Works Department Office.
